Meet The Team

DAOUD

Daoud is an ideas guy, always dreaming up new things and seeing opportunities. When not doing the above, he’s usually out of the dusty city enjoying the hills, desert, wildflowers or exploring a historic site with his family, usually with a strong English tea! (Sainsbury’s Red Label does the trick.) Daoud's roles include fundraising and vision.

SAIF

Saif has lived in the Middle East for six years, and can't imagine life anywhere else. His favorite movies include The Notebook and Beauty and the Beast, but he can also be found in the gym or staying up late to catch a sporting event back in the States. Saif is passionate about intercessory prayer, making disciples, and is outrageously thankful God has called him to serve the Arab world. He hopes Heaven is filled with richly upholstered libraries, exotic pets, and Irish people. Saif’s roles include fundraising, strategy and leading the follow up.

SAMEER

Sameer is strategic coordinator maintaining key partnership relations for pre-production, production, and post-production. A jack-of-all-trades, he's taught himself the various Adobe suites over the last few months, as well as doing pretty much everything else; without him, not much would happen. Sameer enjoys anything to do with nature: birding, fishing and hiking.

NOOR

Noor has been living in the Middle East for 4 years and can't imagine doing her life anywhere else. Beautiful spreadsheets, strong coffee and great conversation make her happy. She works on the administrative end of this project and when she isn't managing work-flow, you can find her hiking, knitting, and telling stories.

RANIA

An incessant tinkerer and wordsmith, Rania has the final word on comms. She's been the ideas and energy behind the Najoom prayer website and spoken word video concepts. In the 4+ years she's been in the region, she's mastered the Middle Eastern kitchen: vine leaves, magloobay (lit. the flipped dish) and worked her way through pretty much every Ottolenghi and Salma Hage recipe.

IBRAHIM

Ibrahaim is originally from Palestine though has lived in a neighbouring country his whole life. He met Jesus three years ago and has since been passionate about reaching his fellow countrymen in finding out the truth about the Messiah. He loves comedies and cheesy music. Ibrahim does online discipleship, translation work and helps edit content.

ABU YUSEF

Abu Yusef is the theological director for the project, making sure the writers and animators don't fall off the theological deep end. It is a task that has proved to be remarkably easy with so many astute Bible readers involved in the project. After cracking his theological whip, he likes to play with his kids and read them great books like The Lord of the Rings and The Wingfeather Saga.

QAIS

Qais has a long-term call to the Arab World. His dream is to see thousands and thousands of young Arab men and women worshiping Jesus Christ from every country in the Middle East. He is equally a dog person and a cat person, but no one believes him. Qais' biggest struggle in living overseas is the lack of Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits. Qais oversees the short term discipleship.
